To open Word documents
in a MAC
Hold down the Control key and
click on the Word document.
From the pop-up menu choose 'Open With' and then choose 'TextEdit.app'
from the submenu.
You can also drop a Word document onto the TextEdit icon or
choose
'Open' from TextEdit's file menu and locate the document to
